Random Thoughts

How would you translate random thoughts in Tagalog? Thoughts in Tagalog are mga muni-muni, saloobin, or mga naiisip. But what is random? Random in random thoughts means just any; something that just comes out of your head from nowhere. With that thought, in Tagalog, random would be pasumalá or palambáng. Therefore, random thoughts in Tagalog would be Mga Pasumalang Muni-muni.

Mga Pasumalang Muni-muni

In my journal, or diary which was called in my days, I used to write random thoughts instead of what happened that day. As I declutter my storage boxes of old notes and pages, I stumbled upon what I had been writing then. Some sounded funny; some sounded stupid; some didn't make any sense; but some sounded like: huh! I wrote that! While some sounded like: what a horrible English. :-)

I had to re-write some quotes of mine; sort of editing my own written work to give them more sense; or more aligned with my current paradigms.
